No tricks here just a super simple Easter card.

Today starts a new challenge at Crafty Hazel Nut's Pattern Paper Challenge

The theme is always anything goes with pattern paper. 

My card features a cute Easter stamp from Magnolia Stamps.

The pattern paper I have used has been in my stash for years and I am so glad that I finally made a project with it.  I have a tendency to hoard pattern paper.  Sometimes it is just too pretty to use.

Little Miss Tilda

Normally I make lots of Easter cards to send to family and friends.  This year I have only made a few.  It still seems weird that this will be the second Easter spent without the large family gatherings.

Hello Crafty Friends!

The holidays are fast approaching.  Are you ready?  I'm not.  At times I feel it is ok with sending fewer Christmas cards this year but then I think about the how many friends and family I will not see this year due to the pandemic.  I think I will want to send even more cards.

This is my DT project for Crafty Hazel Nut's Pattern Paper challenge.  The theme is always Anything goes with Pattern Paper.  I used this adorable Edwin with tree stamp from Magnolia stamps for my card.  I kept the card free of bulky embellishments so it will be easier to mail.

Hello Crafty Friends!

I hope you have found time for paper crafting in the new year. This is the first project I have completed after the holidays.  Time just seemed to get away from me and I never got the chance to spend some time in my craft room.

This card features Be Sparkley and Cotton Tail from Digi Doodle Studios.  Are they just the cutest?  This card is a change from my usual square shape.  I decided I need to make an effort to make cards that are easier to mail.  This is still a bit over sized but I tried.

Don't forget the monthly challenge at Digi Doodle Studios Challenge blog.  The theme this month is Something New such as a new baby, new home, new craft product, etc)  I chose to change up my card shape from square to rectangular and I did a new color combo.  I have don't think I have ever combined yellow and the blue green copics before.

Hello Crafty Friends!

Are you enjoying your summer?  I am counting down the days til my vacation.  

Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps. The theme is CAS Summer. Pretty easy peasy.  I chose this super cute stamp from Magnolia Stamps for my card.  I kept the card design very simple but I did add a little sparkle with extreme glitter paint to her dress trim and shoes.  I also dipped the end of my paint brush into the glitter paint and dotted along in the sand.  Have you ever been to the beach and seen the sand sparkle in the sun?  I tried to mimic that with the glitter paint.

I decided to use both Little and Masking for my card.  I masked the snowdrifts, trees and Frozen Tilda to create the scene.  I then stamped and fussy cut the little snoman to place in the foreground of the scene.

Graduation Edwin

It is graduation time so I needed lots of grad cards and gifts.  This card was made for a special young man graduating from high school.  He happens to be one of my former daycare kids.  It is always fun to see how my littles grow up into young adults.

It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps.  This month the theme is Flowers which is perfect for all you Mother's day cards.

 For my card I used several flowers from different stamp sets.  

The front of my card features two stamps from Magnolia Stamps; Tilda and Open Gate.  I also used stamps from Fiskars Petals from Scratch  stamp set to create pattern paper.

The inside of the card features a flower created using the Fiskars Petals from Scratch set again.
