Anniversary Cards

July was full of anniversaries for our family.  I used this adorable image from Mo's digial Pencil for a couple of the cards I needed to make.   The papers are similar but not exactly the same.

It's Summer Time

I made this card for a friend.  The stamps are from the Magnolia Stamps Summer Breeze collection.  Tilda and Edwin look like they are having so much fun in the water.  I'm not sure what the weather is like where you live but here in the midwest, we are enjoying a respite from the heat wave that hit us last week.  Temperatures are in the upper 80's but that is so much better than the upper 90's with a heat index into the 100's we experienced last week.  One good thing about those temps was it gave me a good excuse to be in my nice air conditioned craft room getting some projects completed.

Sending Hugs

I made this card to send to my grandmother.  I love Mo's Digital Pencil images and this one is perfect for a thinking of you card.
I am getting back into crafting on a regular schedule.  I took some time to heal from a shoulder and arm injury that made it difficult to be creative.
Instead of crafting, I have been spending my summer taking training classes with my dog.  I've lost track of how many miles we have walked this summer. We are currently taking the Canine Good Citizen class.  If all goes well and she passes, we hope to go on for further training to become a visiting therapy team.  She has learned so much and I have lost a few pounds.  That's a win for both of us.

Wedding Card

The current challenge at Aud Sentiments is Anything Goes + A Sentiment.
We are also having a DT call so if you would like to join our team, please go to the challenge blog to learn how to apply.
This is my DT card.  I made this card for one of my oldest son's best friends.  They have known each other since before kindergarten.
Their wedding colors were yellow and gray (Which just happens to be my favorite colors) so I couldn't resist making this card for them.

Christmas Card

I have a new Christmas card to share today.  This is my DT card for the mid month reminder of the Crafty Hazel Nut Christmas Extra challenge

This image from Magnolia Stamps is one of my current favorites.  I decided to color her dress in shades of yellow and then I painted over with extreme glitter paint for a little sparkly.

The card design is very simple, yet I really like how it turned out.  I cut out a shape from a piece of 12x12 scrapbook paper for the accent.  It adds some interest to the card without adding extra bulk which will make this card easier to mail for the holidays.

I hope you join us in this challenge and the future 2016 challenges. It's a great way to get your Christmas cards done without the last minute stress.
