Wine With Friends

I made this card for one of my sorority sisters.  We do secret sisters all year long with the final reveal in may.  This card goes along with the vinyl on tile project I made that you can find HERE.
We always seem to drink wine at all of our get togethers so this image from Bugaboo stamps is just perfect.

Spread Your Wings and Fly

I am super excited to share with you today my first project as a DT member for Scrapbooker PHD.
The theme for the challenge is Bling It Up

We are sponsored by

I used this adorable butterfly fairy from Mo's Digital Pencil.

I added Bling, sparkle and shine to my project using several different mediums.
I did not start out with plans to use this color scheme.  I was playing around with my Aged Silver Embossing enamel mixed with gold glitter to see what it would look like on black paper.   I used the same embossing enamel on the leaves cut with my spellbinders leaf dies in white paper.  I loved the look
The butterfly is punched from gold glitter paper with some added rhinestones for some extra bling.
The swirls are from the Divine Say It In Crystals collection from Prima.  I love how they progress from clear rhinestones to light yellow pearls.
After coloring the wings with copics, I painted them with extreme glitter paint.  I added gold stickles to the tutu and flower after coloring with copics.

This card is for my son's girlfriend.  They will be graduating from high school next month.  The school colors are black and gold.

For A Dear Friend

This is my DT project for Aud Sentiments.  The challenge is to create a project using a sentiment for a friend.  We are sponsored by The Doodle Pantry who was nice enough to give eact dt member an image to use.
I chose The Magi.  It's a wonderful set that includes individual images of each of the three wise men in both colored and uncolored versions.  I decided that the colored images was beautiful and decided to use the three together.  All I did was add stickles on the frames, their crowns, and the gifts they are bearing.  I then added the sentiment underneath before printing out.  Easy peasy but looks so beautiful.  This will be just perfect for one of my friends at Christmas.

I hope that you join us in the challenge.  Don't forget to include A Sentiment For A Friend.

Prom page 3

This is the final page of last year's prom.  I loved the colors in the dress my son's date wore. (My son and his date are in the top left)
All the girls looked pretty in their dresses.  I loved how each dress was unique but all together they looked great in the picture.  I always have trouble taking a good picture of my scrapbook layouts when I include the photos.  Sorry for the glare in the lower left.

Project Details:
Hearts: Spellbinders dies
Banner: Sizzix dies

Prom page two

I am still working on last years prom pictures.  This is page two.  We went to a local park to take pictures before prom.  I accidentally got adhesive on one of the pictures so will have to get another copy.  Darn it!  The peach paper is very heavy glitter cardstock.  It was a bear to get it punched out but looks so pretty.

Project Details:
Flowers: Nellie Snellen punches
Flower border: Martha Stewart Paper punch
Lamp Post: Cottage Cutz dies

Prom Scrapbook Layout

As we are getting ready for for my son's senior prom in just a few days, I realized I hadn't made a scrapbook layout for last years prom.

We took so many pictures but I chose to start with this one.  Her dress was beautiful!
I tried to match the rhinestones on her dress with the accents on the page
