I'm super excited to announce that I am now a design team member for The Merry Christmas Challenge blog.  If you follow my blog, then you know Christmas cards are my favorite cards to make and I make them all year long so I am prepared for the holidays.

This little penguin is from Whimsy Stamps.  Isn't he adorable?
I hope that you hop on over to the challenge blog and join us in the new challenge. It's always Anything Christmas goes.

Masculine Birthday Card

I made this card for my dad's birthday.  I colored it up in the neutral blue and browns.  My mom had a good laugh when she saw the card because my dad was dressed in the same colors and had his reading glasses on the end of his nose just like in this image.

Christmas card

One more Christmas card to add to my stash.  I have just a handful of cards left to make for this year.  Of course it's never too early to start cards for 2018!
I kept this card free of bulky embellishments so that it will be easy to mail.  I love the soft colors of this pattern paper so I colored the digi in soft colors too.  After coloring with copics I used extreme glitter paint to add a little sparkle to the angel wings, stars, ornaments and package ribbon. I used diamond dust stickles on the snowflake and flower.

Her is the inside of the card:

Floral Birthday Card

This is my DT card for Addicted To Stamps. The challenge theme is Anything With Flowers. I couldn't resist using one of the Magnolia Stamps I recently purchased. I went on a little spending spree and bought several that I have had my eye on.
This color combo is new to me also.  Yellow is my favorite color and I rarely use it in my crafting. I paired it up with purple since they are complementary colors.

Inside of the card:

Card Details:
Stamp: Tilda with fantasy flowers from Magnolia Stamps

Trick or Treat

This is my DT card for the Simply Magnolia October challenge.  The theme is Autumn.  I decided to make a Halloween card using this adorable Tilda stamp.
I dug around in my stash and found a few items that hadn't been used in awhile.  I used a Martha Stewart border and corner punch for the background and I found these great gem swirls that were at the bottom of my embellishment drawer.

Deck The Halls

Another Christmas card completed.  I kept this one simple and free of embellishments so that it will be easier to mail.  I think it turned out kinda cute.
This is my DT project for Crafty Hazel Nut's Christmas Extra challenge. The theme is always Anything Christmas Goes so it's a great way to get your holiday cards done in time to be mailed.

Christmas Card

I'm getting closer to having all of my Christmas cards done. My plan is to have them ready to be mailed by the beginning of December.
I created this card using Winnie and Penguin from the big Winnie White Christmas bundle.  The pattern paper is even from the bundle.
After coloring the image with copics, I painted the wings with extreme glitter paint and then used tinsel glitter on her hat trim. The glitter was a gift I received several years ago.  I love using it for hat trims and this purple worked perfectly with the paper and copics I used.

Oops! I Shot a Bunny!

When I saw this image from The Stamping Chef, I knew just how I was going to use it.  My grandmother used to put her hand over her mouth and  say "Oops, I shot a bunny!" whenever she passed gas!  It always made us kids giggle.
This card will be for my brother's birthday.  I am sure he will get a chuckle with this funny memory of our grandmother.
