Noel

I have had the idea for this card in my head for awhile and finally put it to paper. I hope the play on word Noel isn't too corny. The larger snowflake is embellished with dew drops and the inside sentiment is a DJ Inkers stamp.

Letter L: Base Camp cut at 3.5 inches
Snowflake: Joys of the Season cart cut at 2" and 1.5 inches

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #10

I thought the sketch for the challenge this time looked like a tic tac toe game. The face on the pumpkins is from the Peachy Keen Cutout Pumpkin Faces set. I chalked the pumpkins and then used a yellow colored pencil for the face. I then added crystal stickles to the face to make it look like a candle was lit inside. The ribbon is from M's and the sentiments are stamps that I picked up in the dollar bin last year.
Cricut cuts:
Pumpkin: Happily Ever After cricut cart cut at 1.25 inches
Ghost: Paper Doll Dress Up cart cut at 1.5 inches

Peachy Keen Challenge #9 Gumball Machine Card

The Peachy Keen challenge this time was to use a circle, star and a square. This worked out great because I needed to make a thank you card for one of my daycare families. I used the Fiskars stars embossing plate to add some dimension to the yellow paper. For the faces on the gumballs I use the Peachy Keen Winter Face Assortment.

Sesame Street

I made all of the Sesame Street characters for my daycare. When we have circle time the theme, letter, color, number and shape of the day will be introduced by a different character. Also Oscar has the monthly song and Cookie Monster has the monthly menu and schedule. They were all made at the largest size I could make them on a 12x12 piece of paper which I think is either 11 or 11 1/2 inches. The bulletin boards are magnetic so that when I change pictures for the various themes it will be very fast and easy to do. I purchased them at Walmart for under $7 each.

Gramaphone Card

I made this card for my father-in-law for this birthday. Pretty simple card since masculine cards are always a challenge. Inking was all done with the CTMH chocolate ink pad. I used the allegro cuttlebug embossing folder for some texture. The border punch is a Martha Stewart punch (One of my favs).

Peachy Keen Faces Challenge

I made this for the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge 6. The challenge this week was to use any of the face stamps for any project. I have been wanting to make this clown for quite awhile so this was just perfect. I used the clown face from the Too Much Fun Faces. Isn't he cute? I used several different embossing folders and plates to add some details. All the cricut cuts are from the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge cut at 4 inches. I Used a paper punch for the flower and punched it twice. I used a pop dot for dimension. I wrapped the floral wire around a pencil to get it coiled. If you want to see the details better just click on the picture for a larger view.
Embossing details:
Hat band and umbrella: Cuttlebug Swiss Dots
Hair: Cuttlebug Spots and Dots
Bowtie: Honeycomb Fiskars embossing plate

House Card

I made this card to thank my BIL and his fiance for taking care of our house and animals while we were on vacation. The house card and envie are from the WildCard Cricut Cartridge. The topiaries on either side of the door are layered stickers I had in my stash. The wreaths on the doors are cut twice from the Joys of the Season Cricut cartridge and layered for dimension. The doorknobs are brads. Not sure if you can tell in the pic, but I used some stickles on the window to give it a shiny look.
Cricut Cuts:
House Card: WildCard Cart cut at 7.75 inches
Envie: WildCard cart cut at 7.75 inches
Wreaths: Joys of the Season Cart cut at 1.25 and 2.5 inches
dog: Paper Pups cart cut at 1.5 inches
