Fun In The Snow

We had our second snow this fall over the weekend.  I hope that isn't a prediction for how much it will snow when winter actually begins next month.

Anyway, this is my DT card for Digi Choosday.  The theme is always anything goes but the DT was given the theme of Snow to use for our projects.

I used Hollybobs Skater for my card.  I had fun adding snow using white embossing enamel and gesso around the card edges.  For the ice I used Crackle accents.

I also had fun with the inside of the card.  I used the Snowman Sentiments stencil to add a cute snowman.  I used gesso and then sprinkled ultra fine glitter on top before the gesso was dry.

All of the papers used are from the Hollybobs download collection.  I love the swirls as a background for the snowman.

Merry X-Mas

I'm sharing another Christmas card today.  It snowed yesterday and it has put me in the mood for Christmas.
I run a daycare from my home and the kids woke up from their nap all excited to see it snowing.  One of my daycare girls asked all excitedly, "Julie, does it mean that it's time for Christmas?" I answered her by telling her how many sleeps we have until Christmas (46 in case you are wondering). But inside I kept saying to myself, 'Yes, yes, it's time for Christmas!"

Stamp: Magnolia Stamps
Spellbinders shape dies

Christmas Wishes

There are only 46 more days til Christmas!
I am getting closer to having my Christmas cards done and ready to mail.  In fact, I only have 3 left to make that need to be mailed and then 3 more for special family members.
My goal was to be done by the beginning of December.  I think I'm going to make that goal this year.
I used a sketch from Cheerful Sketches for this card.  I used the scraps I created when I cut my triangles for the inside of the card.

Card Details:
Santa: Sassy Cheryls
Copics
Spellbinders scalloped circle die

A Little Sunshine in November

I have most of my Christmas cards finished so I decided to take a break from making holiday cards and make something for a friend.
This is my DT card for Addicted To Stamps.  The challenge is Anything Goes with the option of ribbon.  I made a ribbon bow and tucked it behind the daisy.  I also found this fabulous white and yellow daisy ribbon in my stash that works perfectly for this card.  Oh and I glittered up the ribbon in her hair.
