Colon Cancer Awareness Bracelet

Hello crafty friends

I usually just share my paper crafts here but I decided I would share the bracelets I made for Christmas gifts this year.
My husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer in April 2017.  He has been tolerating his chemo treatments with minimal side effects.
I made these bracelets for myself, his mom, sisters and sisters-in-law this Christmas.  I figure when we wear the bracelets, it will remind us to pray for him so that his treatments continue to work.
The bracelet pictured is mine. After I made it to fit my wrist I realized I used 10 blue beads. When Tom first met with the oncologist we thought he wouldn't have much time left. His Dr told us that he had a patient who was still going strong after 10 years.  10 years then became our goal to beat.

It's A Party

Hello crafty friends.
I am taking a break from Christmas projects to share this birthday card.

This is my DT project for Digi Choosday.  The DT was given the challenge of 'It's Party Time" for our projects but you can make anything you want for the challenge.
I wanted to keep this card simple but fun so I decided to paper piece the balloons and the ribbon on the present.

Christmas Card

Hello and happy advent season!

This is my favorite time of the year!  I love all the preparations for Christmas.
This is my DT card for Aud Sentiments.  This is our last challenge of 2018 and the theme is Anything Goes.  I chose to make a Christmas card. I kept this one flat since I do need to mail it.  Got to keep the postage costs down while still keeping the post office open.

Card Details:
Stamp: Light The Way Winnie from Polkadoodles
copics
Gina Marie Designs oval die
Extreme glitter paint for wings, lights and halo

Blue and Silver Christmas Card

Happy Holidays!
I am so excited that we are now in the Advent season.  It's time to send those Christmas and holiday cards we have been making all year.  A few of the cards I have made will be hard to part with. This card is one of my favorites.

I used Holly Wreath Tilda from magnolia stamps for this card. I think she is adorable in blue and silver.
Here is the inside of the card.

The current challenge at Addicted to Stamps is to use Non Traditional Colors for your Holiday cards.  I can't wait to see what you create!
