The deadline to mail Christmas cards is fast approaching.  Are you ready?  I am just about finished with my cards.  Of course, there are always a few people I decide to add to my list each year so I may not be as close to done as I hope.
This is November 1st so that means a new challenge at Crafty Hazel Nut's Christmas Extra challenge. The theme is always anything goes and we are sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps.

Christmas Card

It's September 1st so that means a new challenge starts at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Extra!
The challenges are always Anything Christmas Goes.  Participating in the challenge each month is a great way to get your Christmas cards done on time.  I recently looked through my stash of cards and I am nearing the end of the cards I need to make.  Yippee!! Of course, I will probably start the Thank you cards that need to be done for the holidays so I will still get to play with my Christmas and winter stamps.
Anyway, this is my DT card for this month.  I used Rottweiler Trio Blocks from Bugaboo Stamps.  I cut them apart and added the sentiment to create the square.  To make the dogs festive for the holidays I cut them each a Santa hat using the Winnie The Pooh and Friends Cricut cartridge. It's a simple card but fun.   This one will go to our dog groomer.  My little Malshi visits her each month for a spa day and a trim.

Moose Christmas Card

**Oops, I messed up and thought I had this post scheduled to go live yesterday.
You know what they say, Always a day late and a dollar short.

It's the first of the month so that means a new challenge at Crafty Hazel Nut's Christmas Extra Challenge.  The theme is always anything Christmas goes.  Participating in the challenge is always a great way to get your Christmas cards done before the holiday rush.
I colored this cutie up with copics and then  painted the ornaments with extreme glitter paint over the copics to make them sparkle!
The image is from Bugaboo Stamps.  They are the sponsor for all of our challenges.  I kept the design simple and managed to use up some pieces of paper from my stash.  I used the Martha Stewart snowflake border punch and corner punch too.

Christmas card and gift card holder

This is my DT card for Crafty Hazel Nut's Christmas Extra Challenge.  The image on the front is from Bugaboo Stamps.  The faces are from Peachy Keen Stamps.
When I was addressing my Christmas cards last year I realized I needed several cards that could hold gift cards.  In January when I wrote out my Christmas card list, I made sure to make note of which people would need the gift card insert inside. Planning ahead like this will make holiday time so much easier.

Warm Winter Wishes

I just love how this card turned out.  I colored up this little cutie back at the end of summer when the temperatures were in the 90's.  It was hard to imagine at that time that it would ever be cold again.
Again for this card I used my spellbinders dies to create the card shape.  I love the red and grey colors together.  The greenery is actually a small bit cut from a floral spray I bought at Michael's. It works just perfectly with an added bow as an embellishment on my cards. I used some white embossing enamel to look like falling snow and added a bit of cheese cloth between a couple layers of paper.
It's mid month so you still have time to enter the Crafty Hazel Nuts Christmas Extra Challenge. It's our last challenge of 2016.

Reindeer Games

Today starts the last challenge of 2016 at Crafty Hazel Nut's Christmas Extra Challenge.
Are you ready for Christmas?
I'm not.  Despite starting in January with my Christmas cards, I still have much to do.
I used my spellbinders dies to create this card shape.  I think I got into a rut with square cards so I am trying to mix it up a bit.
This cute little reindeer is from Bugaboo Stamps and they are sponsoring the challenge.

Happy Winter

It's the first of the month so that means a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Extra.
Wait....
It's November!
I have got to get busy counting and figuring out if I have enough Christmas cards. I already know I don't. I do however have enough cards made that need to go in the mail. The rest of my cards will be hand delivered so that means more embellishments...the bulkier the better.

This card was super quick but looks great. The paper already had the design. I just added the Xmas Brat sitter with presents from Bugaboo. I did add the corner snowflakes and the sentiment in the bottom right.
I hope you join us for this challenge.

Get Your Merry On!

Inside of card:

Happy Saturday! It's a gorgeous fall day her in NW Missouri.  My youngest son and I are traveling to see my oldest son. It's his last semester in college and we are going to visit for parents day. Instead of doing all the typical parent/college child activities, we have decided to hike around the local state park. I am really looking forward to spending time with my two favorite guys. My poor husband will be home working.
Anyway, this is my design team card for Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge extra.  I hope you join us in the challenge.  We just have 12 weekends until Christmas.  Are you ready?
