Christmas Card

It's September 1st so that means a new challenge starts at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Extra!
The challenges are always Anything Christmas Goes.  Participating in the challenge each month is a great way to get your Christmas cards done on time.  I recently looked through my stash of cards and I am nearing the end of the cards I need to make.  Yippee!! Of course, I will probably start the Thank you cards that need to be done for the holidays so I will still get to play with my Christmas and winter stamps.
Anyway, this is my DT card for this month.  I used Rottweiler Trio Blocks from Bugaboo Stamps.  I cut them apart and added the sentiment to create the square.  To make the dogs festive for the holidays I cut them each a Santa hat using the Winnie The Pooh and Friends Cricut cartridge. It's a simple card but fun.   This one will go to our dog groomer.  My little Malshi visits her each month for a spa day and a trim.

Be The Good Vinyl Tile

I have been looking for a meaningful quote to put on this tile for awhile now.  I finally found something that spoke to me.  In light of everything going on in the U.S. right now, I think we could all use this gentle reminder to not only believe in good but to BE the good in the world.

The design was created using Cricut Craft Room.  I used the frame from the Sophie cartridge. The fonts are from Base Camp and A Child's Year.

Anniversary Card

Anniversary card I made for a couple at our church celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
I recently cleaned my craft room and "rediscovered" this gorgeous set of white paper. Isn't is beautiful?  Since the paper is so pretty on it's own, I wanted to keep the card design simple.
Happy Anniversary John and Fran!

Card Details:
Birds: Storybook Cricut cartridge cut at 1.75 inches and then popped up using dimensional foam stickers
Heart circle die: Magnolia Doohickey dies
Corner leaf: Storybook cricut cartridge

Summer Time

Tilda looks like she is having a fun day at the beach collecting sea shells. I wish Summer could last a little longer.  Unfortunately, it is time for school to start so I am back to working 5 days a week instead of 3.  It was fun while it lasted.
This is my DT card for Simply Magnolia.  The theme this month is Summer.  I can't wait to see what you create

Card Details:
Stamp: Magnolia Stamps
Copics
Shells and Sea weed from Splish Splash Cricut cartridge

Chrismas Card

It's already the middle of August!  Where did the summer go?  School starts in a couple of days.  This is my DT card for Crafty Hazel Nut's Christmas Extra challenge. I just love the way this card turned out.  I used this adorable image from Tiddly Inks.  Doesn't she make a cute reindeer?  I used a spellbinders die to create the card base.

My mother collects gnomes so when I saw this adorable gnome from Mo's Digital Pencil, I knew it would make a great birthday card for her.  I made the card base with Spellbinders dies.

Tiddly Inks Blog Hop Fun With Animals

I am super excited to be a part of the Tiddly Inks new release blog hop
So excited in fact, that I made 3 cards. Lol!
Card #1
Features the Cool Cat and Dapper Dog. I figured they either had too much fun decking the halls or they got into a bit a mischief.  Either way, they make a cute holiday card.

Card #2 features rabbit from the Fun Animals Set. I cut out the carrot and the sunglasses from the Fun Animals Extra set as well.

On the inside of the card I used the party hats from the Punky Pups Sentiment set.

Card #3 Once again features Cool Cat and Dapper Dog but this time for a birthday card.

On the inside of the card I used a sentiment from the Punky Pups Sentiment set

I hope that you like the new images as much as I do.
Please follow along on the blog hop. The other designers have lots of creative projects to share as well.

Fairy Happy Birthday

The new challenge at Aud Sentiments is to create a project using a fairy.  We are sponsored by The Paper Nest Dolls.  For my card I used Emma fairy with unicorn from their shop. She is just perfect for a birthday card for a young girl.  After coloring with copics, I painted the  unicorn and fairy wings with extreme glitter paint.  I also added some stickles to the horn.  I used blue glitter for some extra sparkle because what young girl doesn't love some sparkle?
