Easter Chicks

I am so excited! I was asked to be a guest designer at One Stop Craft for this week's challenge!! The challenge is clean and simple. Until about 2 years ago most of the cards I made were clean and simple but over time my style has changed. Needless to say, this challenge was just a little bit challenging to me. I kept wanting to add pattern paper and embellishments to my card. In the end, I stuck to the theme of the challenge and I decided I really like the way this card turned out. I like the pastel colors with the white background and that little chick is just too cute! I did add some lemon yellow flower soft to the chick to give him some dimension though.
Card Details:
Chick: Sweetie Pie Peepers from Peachy Keen Stamps
Copics: Y11, Y00, YR02
lemon Yellow Flower Soft
Happy Easter Stamp: Magnolia Stamps

Hi Julie!
This is going to sound crazy but...I am a follower and I was on google reader and I saw a card that you had posted where you described how you made your own hand made flowers using the scissor shaper things I have had FOREVER. Anyway..I have tried several times to click on that post to THANK YOU for the wonderful idea regarding the flowers and it keeps telling me the post doesn't exist. So without further ado, whether you really did post that info, or I dreamed it in a time warp continuim, Thanks so much, fab idea and I am putting it to use ASAP. If you did not really post that card..please disregard and I will check with my doctor regarding upping my medication LOL.
