Stripes

The challenge at Digi Doodle Shop's challenges this week is to use stripes.
For my card, I used the image A Drink of Water from the  Digi Doodle Shop.

I also used one of Carly's sketches.  It is a great sketch and is very versatile.  I am sure I will be using this one alot in my card making.
I hope you join us in the challenge.  Just link up your project using stripes to the Digi Doodle Shop Challenge blog for your chance to win a gift certificate to the shop.

Anniversary Candles

For my parent's 50th anniversary reception, I decorated white pillar candles for the tables.
I kept them pretty simple but they did look elegant on the tables.  The scalloped flower is from the Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge and the birds are from the Joys of the Season Cricut cartridge.  I wrapped the paper around the candle and then attached it using pins with pearls.

Under The Sea

Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring The Crazy Challenge.  The theme is Under The Sea.  For my card I used the mermaid from Sassy Studio Designs.  I colored her with copics and then added some gold on her tail with a gold spica pen.  I decided to make a shaker box for this card.  I used sand, beads and a shell charm for accents.  The die cuts are from the Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut cartridge.

New Sketch by Carly

Carly has a new sketch for us this week.   It is a super versatile sketch so I can't wait to see what you create with it.  This challenge is sponsored by My Heart Pieces.  They are giving the winner of the challenge 3 digi images of their choice.
For my card I used the image Waiting Fairy from My Heart Pieces.  After coloring the entire image, I cut out another set of wings to give a little more dimension to the card.  And of course, I painted them with extreme glitter paint.  If you follow my blog, you know I love that stuff.  It is so easy to use and dries in less than 5 minutes.  I also love the fact that I can add more after it dries if I want my project to be even more glittery.
Now it is your turn to show us what you can do with Carly's sketch.  You have two weeks to create a project and upload it to the challenge blog for your chance to win.  Can't wait to see what you create!

Aud Sentiments Challenge 59 Tag It

Tag, you're it!
Aud Sentiments new challenge is to put your sentiment on a tag.
We are sponsored by Tickled Pink for this challenge.  They provided the DT with images to use for our projects.  I used Tickled Winter Little Lolita Evie.  I decided to give her a silver dress and hat.  After coloring with copics, I added extreme glitter paint for that shimmering look.  I also added snow white flock to her hat and dress trim.   I hope you join us in this challenge.  You can create whatever you want as long as you put your sentiment on a tag.
Good Luck!
