For my DT card I decided to keep it simple.  I paired this adorable guy up with the new papers that are part of this release as well.

Mermaid Birthday Card

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today starts a new challenge at Aud Sentiments.  The theme is Anything Goes + A Sentiment. I have used the number 3 as my sentiment.

For my DT card I chose to use this rubber stamp from Conie Fong. Yes, it is actually a rubber stamp and not a digi.  I have had it in my stash for years.

This card is for a special young lady who just turned 3 on the 4th of July.

She loves mermaids so I couldn't resist making this card just for her.

I used the Little Ladybug Stamp and Ladybug die set from Ink N' Splatter

and this EZ Light from Pear Blossom Press

My card lit up

I started by laying out the stamps how I wanted them on the card front

I used my hole punch from my eyelet setter to punch holes in the flower centers

I placed velum on back side of the holes and colored the vellum with a yellow copic and placed the lights by the holes.  I used double sided tape to make sure the wires stayed in place

I didn't have a Press Here stamp so I just created my Push On Flower sentiment in Word

This card was super easy to create and I can't wait to make more light up cards.
