Hello Crafty Friends!

The current challenge at Aud Sentiments is Summer + A Sentiment.

I decided to use this cute image from Digi Doodle Studios and paired him up with some matching pattern paper.  I kept the card embellishments flat so that it is easier and a bit cheaper to mail.

I put the sentiments on the inside of the card as you can see below.

Hello Crafty Friends!

Have you started your Christmas cards?  It's never too early.  

This is my DT card for Christmas With The Cuties. The theme is to use 2 or more patterned papers.  I really enjoy mixing and matching papers so this is a perfect challenge for me.  We are sponsored by Crafty Sentiment Designs and I have used the image Blitz.  For the pattern papers I used the Suddenly Winter papers from Digi Doodle Studios.

Little Elijah

Hello Crafty Friends!

I am slowly getting back into card making since my husband passed away.  I know that keeping up with my hobbies helps but I have lost a bit of my mojo.  Coloring up this adorable image from Digi Doodle Studios helped.  The face on this little guy just makes me smile.  He is super cute with the sheep.

Birthday Card

Hello Crafty Friends!

This is my card for the June challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Pattern Paper  Challenge.

The theme for the challenge is always Anything Goes as long as you use pattern paper.  I have used several layers of pattern paper for this card.  I really enjoy mixing patterns and colors for my cards.

I sent this card to a friend's daughter who celebrated her 18th birthday during the stay at home orders due to the Corona Virus pandemic.  Life has certainly been different for everyone.

As for me, my husband passed away after a 3 year battle with cancer.  Grieving during the pandemic is very isolating.  I haven't been able to see some of my family who lives in other states and when I have been able to see family and friends, we have had to maintain social distancing which means no hugs.
