Cheers and Beers

 Hello Crafty Friends

My son celebrated his birthday on Dec 24th.  I don't know about you but cards for guys in their 20's are always a challenge.  I decided to keep it simple this year and he actually liked his card.  Of course, I think it helped that one of his presents was so hard cider.

Seasons Tweetings

 Hello Crafty Friends!

Are you ready for the holidays?  I still have a couple of cards to make.  Even though I started making my Christmas cards in January, I struggled to get enough made for this year.

This  card is not my usual 6x6 square size.  I decided I needed to make cards that were easier and cheaper to mail so I made this card 4.25X5.5 which works perfectly with the Peekaboo Window die I used from Whimsy Stamps.

The digi images and sentiment I used all come from the A Winter's Tail Pairables from Digi Doodle Studios.  These birds are simply adorable and I had fun coloring and fussy cutting them.

You still have plenty of time to enter the challenge at Digi Doodle Studios Challenge blog.  The theme is Christmas/Winter

I took a short break from making Christmas cards to make a birthday card for my sister.

I have had a lot of fun the past couple of months as a guest designer for Conie Fong Art and Design.
This adorable image is Molly's Basket of Love.  Isn't she just the cutest?

I paired her up with this pattern paper from Digi Doodle Studios and added a pop of blue for some fun

Sally and Little Squirrel

 Hello Crafty Friends!

Today I am excited to share another project I created as a guest designer for Conie Fong Art. This adorable image is Sally and Little Squirrel. This image brought back lots of fond memories of my childhood. Where I grew up we had black squirrels and also the typical brown squirrels. Sometimes we would see a black squirrel with a brown tail or visa versa.   Both of my grandfathers enjoyed feeding the squirrels and in fact one of my grandfathers had a squirrel trained to take an oreo cookie out of his hand.

Beary Fun Sleigh Ride

 Hello Crafty Friends!

These bears just make me smile!  They are so cute and I had fun making this card.
The image is Beary Fun Sleigh Ride from Digi Doodle Studios.

Have you been working ahead on your holiday cards?  I have been working on them all year but I haven't checked to see if I have enough made for this year.  Due to covid, there will be lots of people I don't see for the holidays so sending cards is extra meaningful this year.  I try to make the cards I mail free of bulky embellishments to save on postage.
If you like  joining in on challenges, don't forget to enter the challenge at Digi Doodle Studios. The theme for this month is Christmas/Winter
