Hello Crafty Friends!

Fall is my favorite time of year.  I enjoy the cooler temps, the colors and just everything about the season except for Pumpkin Spice. 

I am excited to share with you my project made with one of the new images at Digi Doodle Studios.  The image is called Hello Fall and  will be added to the shop soon.

Happy Birthday

This card was made using a sketch from Seems A Little Sketchy.  It was supposed to go live earlier in the week but Blogger didn't cooperate with me.

Last Challenge at Digi Doodle Shop's Challenges

 The Digi Doodle Shop is closing at the end of the month so this is the very last challenge for the Digi Doodle Shop's Challenges.  The past two years have been wonderful creating projects with the fabulous images Judy and her mom draw for the shop.  They are the nicest people and I am so sad that the shop will be closing.

The theme for this last challenge is ANYTHING GOES!  I decided to use one of my very favorite images from the shop for my last project.  Little Momma is just adorable!

If there are any images from the Digi Doodle Shop that you have had your eye on, hurry on over before the end of the month to purchase them.  All stamps are on sale for $1 until the store closes.  If you do buy any stamps, please them them know that I sent you by leaving my name and blog in the comments section.

Homemade Flower Challenge at Digi Doodle Shop's Challenges

 

The challenge this week at Digi Doodle Shop's Challenges is to use a handmade flower on your project.  The flower on my card was made with a paper punch and coffee filters.  Super easy flower that holds it's shape easily.  I used a little glossy accents on her shoes to make them look like black panent leather.  It doesn't show up well in the pic but it looks great.

The image I used is new in the Digi Doodle Shop.  It is called Flower Girl and you can find it HERE

Young At Heart

The challenge this week at Digi Doodle Shop's Best is to use pearls.  I needed a birthday card for my mom and this challenge theme is perfect.   The  image is Glass of Wine from the Digi Doodle Shop.  When I first saw this image I just knew I would need to color the hat red and make her look like a very young member of the Red Hat Society.

I am sure my mother will get a chuckle out of this card.

 I also used one of Carly's sketches.  It is a great sketch and is very versatile.  I am sure I will be using this one alot in my card making.

Summer Time

I used the image Gone Fishing from the Digi Doodle Shop for my card.

This image reminds me of my youngest son.  You can usually find him fishing at one of our ponds most evenings and weekends.  The pinetree and sign were cut using the Cricut,

Digi Doodle Shop challege Use Bunting

Digi Doodle Shop Challenge Work Related

It's time for another challenge at Digi Doodle Shop's Challenges. 

The theme for this challenge is "Work Related"

 

When you live on a farm, there is always lots of work to do so I decided to make a scrapbook page.

I asked Judy from The Digi Doodle Shop several months ago if she would design a stamp for me using the photograph below as inspiration. It shows my two sons trying to get the donkey to move from the back pasture up

to the pasture by our barn. As you can tell he was a little stubborn. 

I am absolutely thrilled with the way the digi stamp turned out and it looks great on the scrapbook page.  She aptly named the image, "Never Give Up" and you can find it for sale in the Digi Doodle Shop.

The journaling for this page is hidden.  If you pull up on the barn, the journaling is printed on a strip of cardstock behind the pattern paper.

 This pic will be placed on the brown backing.  I always have a hard time photographing my pages with the picures already attached.

In case you are wondering, No, Harvy never kicked at the boys.  In fact, he loved kids.  I have a daycare in my home and whenever he heard my voice outside he would come right up to the fence expecting treats and love.  He loved it when the kids would pet him and he would give them rides around the corral.  Often times I could leave the gate open for him and he would come looking for us.
