It's time for a new challenge at Aud Sentiments.  The challenge theme is to use the sketch.
It's a fairly basic sketch.  You may flip it, rotate it and use different shapes just as long as we can recognize the sketch.  Don't forget the sentiment.

We are sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs.  I have used Snow Queen Portrait for my card.  She works perfectly with this set of papers from Stampin Up.

If Kisses Were Snowflakes

The new challenge at Aud Sentiments is to create a "Feminine" project.  We are sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs for this challenge and their images are just perfect for anything feminine.
I had this container sitting in my craft room for a year now.  It used to hold
Christmas snacks.  I decided to alter it slightly and give it to my husband for Christmas.
I created the sentiment myselft using word and some free Christmas fonts I found.
The silver snowflakes were cut using the spellbinders snowflakes dies.  I found this wonderful heavy silver cardstock at Michaels that is called mirror cardstock.  The snowflakes cut beautifully from that paper.

Girl On Fire

Today's card is a birthday card for a lovely young lady who is turning 13.  She love the Hunger Games books so I couldn't resist using Katniss, Girl on Fire, from Sassy Studio Designs
I wanted her dress to look like it was on fire, just like in the book and the movie.  I colored it in reds, oranges and yellows and then painted the entire dress with extreme glitter paint.  I added some stickles too for a little extra glitter.  I hope all the glitter is evident in the picture.
The bow and arrow are from the Sweethearts Cricut cartridge.  The bow looks a little like a scrolly letter B which is just perfect since the young lady's name who is celebrating her birthday begins with B.
I love the pattern paper for this project.  I have had it for years and never really liked it but it is perfect for this card.  The orange paper actually looks a little like fire.

Today is a bittersweet day for me.  It is my last challenge as a designer for Sassy Studio Designs.  I decided to step down from the design team due to my work schedule.  I will still be creating with these gorgeous and sassy images and I am sure Lindsay will have even more images to wow us each month.

Sassy Halloween Blog Hop

It's a Sassy Halloween Blog Hop!
Sassy Studio Designs has several new images in the shop today and you are going to love all of them!
If you got here from Jackie's blog you are on the right track.  If not, please start at Sassy Studio Designs so you can read about the rules and prizes for the hop.
For my project, I used the new Fortune Teller image from the shop.  Isn't she gorgeous?  All fortune tellers need crystal balls right.  I decided to decorate a clear Christmas ornament and fill it with Halloween candy.  I figure it will serve dual purpose because after halloween, it can go on the Christmas tree.

Your next stop on the hop is Kim

Don't forget to leave me a comment.  One random winner chosen from comments left on the design team member's blogs will win 2 images from the new release.

Dare to be Sassy Fall Color Challenge

The Dare to be Sassy Challenge this week at Sassy Studio Designs is to create a project using the colors red, brown and orange.  I had a hard time with these colors even though I love fall colors.  Anyway, I decided to give my Sassy Witch some Auburn hair and to dress her in orange.  The leaf gems are from Michael's.  I bought them last year and forgot about them but they are the  perfect accent to this card.  I hope you join us in this challenge.  You can link up your projects to Sassy Studio Designs for your chance to win a gift certificate to the store.

Dare To Be Sassy Thursday Monthly Holiday Challenge

It's time to get sassy again at Sassy Studio Designs.  This week the challenge is to create a Christmas card using your favorite Christmas song as inspiration.    It was so hard for me to choose just one song since I love ALL Christmas music.  In fact, I can't wait for the holiday music station to start again on XM radio.  Since I had to choose only one, I decided to go with Rockin Around The Christmas Tree.  I chose Sock Hop Sweetie even though she isn't a Christmas image she was perfect for this song.  I hope you join us in this challenge.  It is never too early to start making Christmas cards.
Card Details:
Image: Sock Hop Sweetie from Sassy Studio Designs
Scalloped Circle:  Cricut Cake logo from Everyday Cricut cartridge
Music notes:  Quarter Note Cricut cartridge

Vicious Villains Blog Hop

I am so excited!  We can finally show you all of our projects created with the Vicious Villains from Sassy Studio Designs.  If you got here from Sara's blog, you are on the right track for the hop.  If not, please start at the Sassy Studio Designs Challenge Blog.

My card was made using The Queen of Hearts
Isn't she just wickedly beautiful?

The sentiment on my card is what she said to Alice, "Sentence first! Verdict Afterwards."
I opted for a black rose on my card since she was mad someone painted her roses red.  I figure black suits her better.

As part of the hop, we are to share our favorite Disney movie.  I had a difficult time choosing just one.  I really love them all.  So since I have to choose just one, I pick...
Beauty and the Beast because Belle loves to read.

If you are curious and want to see a list of all of the Disney movies ever made you can find them HERE.  Included in the list is all the movies that will be coming out in the next few years so we have something to look forward to...

You next stop on the hop is

Don't forget to leave me a comment and let me know what you think of my Queen of Hearts.

Dare to be Sassy Thursday

The Dare to be Sassy Thursday challenge this week is to finish the inside of the card.
For my card I decided to make a Halloween window card.
I used the window from the Christmas Noel Cricut cartridge and layered it for some dimension.
I cut up a sheet protector and  placed between the layers to look like window glass. I decorated the window using the Martha Stewart branch punch and a leaf paper punch.  The bats are from the Happy Hauntings Cricut cartridge

 Inside of card:
Cat:  Animal Kingdom Cricut cartridge
Trick or Treat:  Happy Hauntings Cricut cartridge
Cauldron:  Happy Hauntings Cricut cartridge
