Snowman Card

This is the first card I have made in a couple of weeks. I had surgery on my nose and it was difficult to craft with swollen eyes.  Now that I am back to normal, I decided to ease myself back to crafting with more simple card.  

This is my card for the current 52 CCT. The challenge is to create a card for a child.

Halloween Tags

Here are a couple of quick tags I made for Halloween.  The first one is a pocket tag and will hold a gift card.  It is going into the care package for my oldest son who is in college and living in his own apartment.  

The second tag will go on the treat bag for my youngest son who is also in college but living at home.  Yes, I still like to spoil them even though they are in college.  I fill their care packages with items such as favorite snacks, gift cards to go out to eat and other small items that helps make college life a little easier.  I always try to include one item that is a reminder of home.  This year that item is a box of Dinosaur oatmeal.  Both boys used to love this as kids (they still do)

The World Series Starts tonight!

All anyone is talking about in our area is the Kansas City Royals.  

This is their first trip to the World Series since 1985.

I made this card to help cheer theme on!  Let's have a Royal Victory!

Birthday Card

Today's card is for my nephew.  He will be celebrating his birthday next weekend.  Over the summer he got two new pets.  One of them is a bearded dragon.  He holds and plays with that dragon constantly.  He even lets the bearded dragon sit on his shoulders just like Edwin in this stamp.

Sunflower Sprite

This little sprite is adorable!  I love the way she turned out so I kept the card design simple. I found this yellow flower in my stash and it is just perfect with a button in the center to look like a sunflower.
