Scrapper's Delights June New Release

I have a couple of cards to share with you today.
This first card is made using Honey School Girl from Scrapper's Delights.  I couldn't resist going "old school" with this card (pun intended) so I dug out my stickers.  This will be a great card for the first day of school or even a teacher appreciation card.

My second card also features two of the new images from Scrapper's Delights, Luna Fairy 1 and Plant 1.
Instead of merging the two images together before printing, I decided to change up my card design so that the plant can be seen both from the front and the inside of the card.

Beary Special

I made this card using the sketch from Sketch Saturday. The digital image is from Sassy Cheryl. The background paper I ran through my cuttlebug using the honeycomb Fiskars embossing plate. I then used te gold rush ink from CTMH to it. I used lemon ice stickles on the wings of the bees for a little bling.

Bees: Pooh and Friends Cricut cart cut at 1 inch

First Communion Gift

Yesterday was First Communion Sunday for the 2nd graders at our church. Each year I like to make them something special. I figured that they each receive plenty of prayer cards, pins, and other similar gifts so I like to give them something different. The candy bars are usually a big hit with the kids. I start with a 5.5X5.5 inch piece of paper. I added embossing by using the Fiskars Leaves embossing plate and running it through my cuttebug.

Mother's Hands

This card is for a baby shower for my nephew and his wife. They are expecting a boy in a couple of months. The image is a digital download from KLM Designs. They have some great digital images for cards and other projects. I used a Fiskars embossing plate in my Cuttlebug to emboss the white paper. I had to experiment with different arrangements of the plates to get the best embossing. This is my Cuttlebug "sandwich" for the Fiskars plates: Cuttlebug base plate, then the rubber mat, next the paper, the texture plate and then the Cuttlebug C plate. I ran it back and forth through the cuttlebug a few times as well.
