Have A Heart Birthday Card

 I have to admit that purple isn't my favorite color.  I have been making myself use purple more often in my coloring and in the papers that I use.  I have to admit that I do love the way this card turned out.  I even love the look of the purple. 

This is my DT project for Addicted to Stamps.  The theme for this challenge is "Have A Heart"

There are lots of ways to use hearts on your projects that aren't for Valentines day or for anniversaries. I can't wait to see what you create.

Christmas Card

Here is a simple Christmas card I made.  I am trying to work ahead and get my Christmas cards done early again this year.  I think I need to work a little faster...lol.  I kept this card simple so it can be mailed more easily

For a Friend

I made this card for a special friend's birthday. We have been friends since high school.  

Easel cards are one of my favorite cards to make.  They always look great displayed on a shelf.

Valentine Treats

Happy Valentine's Day!  Nothing says I Love You on Valentine's Day like a box of chocolates. When I told my husband I wanted to decorate the candy box but didn't have one, he went out and bought one just for me.  Of course, we ate the candy.  We are a perfect pair because we each like different candies so between the two of us, the box was emptied.

Bee My Honey

I made this Valentine for my husband.  I saw this bee and sentiment at Mo's Digital Pencil and knew it would make the perfect valentine.

I kept the card design simple.  I used Tim Holtz dies for the honeycomb corners and spellbinders scalloped heart dies for some accents.  After coloring with copics, I painted the fairy wings with extreme glitter paint for a little sparkle

In just a few days we will be celebrating Fat Tuesday. It's so hard to believe that lent is almost ready to start.  

Polkadoodles has created some great new stamps and sentiments just in time for Pancake  Day.

For my card I have used Pancake Heaven.  Isn't she a cutie?  Her stack of yummy pancakes is topped with lots of syrup and blueberries.

Masculine Card

Masculine cards seem to be such a challenge for me.  They used to be easy because my card style was clean and simple.  Over time my card making has evolved and I rarely do just a clean and simple card anymore. That being said, I am really pleased with how this card turned out.
