Homemade Flower Challenge at Digi Doodle Shop's Challenges

The challenge this week at Digi Doodle Shop's Challenges is to use a handmade flower on your project.  The flower on my card was made with a paper punch and coffee filters.  Super easy flower that holds it's shape easily.  I used a little glossy accents on her shoes to make them look like black panent leather.  It doesn't show up well in the pic but it looks great.
The image I used is new in the Digi Doodle Shop.  It is called Flower Girl and you can find it HERE

I used the sketch from Sketches by Carly for my card.

New Sketch by Carly

Carly has another fabulous sketch for us.
I did something a little different for my project.  I decided to make the sentiment be the focus of the card.
I also went a little gender neutral for the card.  Two of  my daycare moms are expecting and one knows the gender of the child but isn't telling and the other wants to be surprised.  As for me, I am just looking forward to holding two new precious bundles of joy!!

 Here is the inside:

I hope you join us in this challenge.   Carly's sketch would be perfect for so many different types of cards.  I can't wait to see what you create.
One lucky winner will receive 3 new digi images from Sweet and Sassy Stamps

You get to pick which of her sketches you want to use for the challenge.

I used the image Pop Star for my card.
I turned sketch #5 into an easel card using the circle card from the Wild Card Cricut cartridge.

This card is for my niece who will be 9 years old this month.
I often like to decorate the envelope as well.  Since I was giving this
card to Aubri in person, I decided to go a little bolder with the design.

New Sketch by Carly

Carly has a new sketch for us this week.   It is a super versatile sketch so I can't wait to see what you create with it.  This challenge is sponsored by My Heart Pieces.  They are giving the winner of the challenge 3 digi images of their choice.
For my card I used the image Waiting Fairy from My Heart Pieces.  After coloring the entire image, I cut out another set of wings to give a little more dimension to the card.  And of course, I painted them with extreme glitter paint.  If you follow my blog, you know I love that stuff.  It is so easy to use and dries in less than 5 minutes.  I also love the fact that I can add more after it dries if I want my project to be even more glittery.
Now it is your turn to show us what you can do with Carly's sketch.  You have two weeks to create a project and upload it to the challenge blog for your chance to win.  Can't wait to see what you create!

New Challenge at Sketches by Carly

It's time for a new sketch challenge at Sketches by Carly.
We are sponsored this time by Bugaboo Stamps.
For my card, I couldn't resist making a halloween card.  The weather has been miserable here for weeks with the temperatures in the upper 90's and even into the 100's some days.  The hot days make me yearn for my favorite time of year, FALL!  I can't wait for the cooler temps, and all the fun fall activities.
For my card I used the Halloween Pumpkin Brat from Bugaboo.  she is just too cute!!
I hope you join us for this challenge.  Carly's sketch is super easy and will work for so many different projects.  Don't forget to link up your project to the challenge blog.  You have 2 weeks to create using this sketch for a chance to win 7 free digis from Bugaboo!
