Snowman

We are gearing up for some rain, ice and snow this weekend so I decided to make a snowman card.

This week the challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throw down is to "Pick A Previous Sketch" to follow.  I chose the sketch from July 2013.  The snowman is from Peachy Keen Stamps.  They have decided to not make anymore stamps so if you want some of their cuties, you better shop soon.

Monster Love

A sweet little valentine I made for a young friend of mine.  I think Monster Boo from Lacy Sunshine Stamps works perfectly for a valentine, don't you?  I had fun creating this with lots of bright and fun colors.

It's new release day at Scrapper's Delights.  

My card features two of the new images; Rosalie Fairy and Sunflowers.  I decided to have some fun with the sunflowers so I colored them in bright colors.

Inlaid Dies

The current challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throw Down is to create a Christmas card using the inlaid dies technique. 

 this is a great way to have your cards be flat for mailing yet have interest created by use of dies.  I kept mine simple.  I diecut the piece of white paper using the Spellbinders poinsettia die and the Sizzix swirl die.  I then cut those same shapes out of my colored paper.  After gluing the color pieces into the negative places in the white paper, I did add some additional poinsettia layers for some dimension. I added pen stitching around the outside of the card.  The end result is simple yet pretty.

Crafting A New Me

I have started a new blog about my journey to find a healthy and happy me.  I have a degree in Recreation Therapy. I always told my clients  to live a well rounded/balanced life. I encouraged them to include activities that allow them to be the best they can be spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. 

 Sadly, I haven't been following my own advice for the last few years.  So now I am starting that journey of rediscovering me.  Want to join me?

Every Time A Bell Rings

It's time for another challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown.  This is my third Christmas card for 2015.

The theme for this challenge is BELLS.  

Stop In The Name Of Love

Today's card features stamps from the Magnolia Stamp Club.  When I look at this girl it reminds me of when people used to say "Talk To The Hand"  What an attitude!  It's perfectly paired up with the sentiment stamp included in the kit as well.  

On the inside of the card I used another of the stamps included in the kit.  Love this rose.  I am already envisioning lots of ways to use it on future projects.
