Today starts a new challenge at Aud Sentiments and we are playing Bingo! 

I chose the diagonal row which includes Pattern Paper, Dig or Stamp and Favorite Color.

I was super excited to learn that the Pantone Color of the year is Living Coral!! That is one of my all time favorite colors, after pale yellow.  You can expect to see lots of projects using coral from me this year!

Pancake Oopsy

Hello Crafty Friends!

We have had quite the winter here in Missouri.  I've lost track of how much snow we have had but we are expecting another 3-6 inches tonight. 

Do you like pancakes?  My husband is a member of Lions International and they always host an all you can eat pancake and sausage dinner in March.  

I decided to use this cutie from Polkadoodles and turn her into a birthday card.  I love the vintage looking pattern paper and couldn't resist using it for this card.

It's another freezing day here and all I want to do is stay under my warm blanket and watch Netflix.  

This is my DT card for Aud Sentiments.  The theme is to use a Love or Valentine Sentiment.

I used Spring Bouquet Ellie for my card.  I colored her up before I chose my papers which is usually backwards for me.  Anyway, I did struggle to find paper I liked that matched.  I do not have a lot of pattern paper that is purple.

Christmas Tilda

Hello Crafty Friends!

It's time for another challenge at ABC Christmas.

 The theme for this challenge is C for Candy or D for Decorations.

I mixed up the ABC order in my post so I am starting with the D for Decorations.  I used Christmas Tilda and paired her up with some gorgeous pattern paper with Christmas ornaments.

Here is my C for Candy card.  I used another Magnolia Stamp for this one. I have always liked this candy cane stamp.  As you can tell, I like mixing and matching pattern papers.  When I first started card making I struggled with the patterns but now I really enjoy putting together different patterns for a fun look.

Oops! Belated birthday Card

Hello Crafty Friends!

Wow, January flew by in a swirl of snow and ice!  I can hardly believe it is already February 1st!  Which means it is time for another challenge at Crafty Hazel Nut's Pattern Paper Challenge. 

Mixing and matching pattern papers is one of my favorite things to do with my cards.  It provides some interest and you don't need a ton of embellishments to make the card fabulous.

I made this card to give to a friend as a belated birthday card.  I didn't forget her birthday, I just didn't get the card made in time.
