Ruby Chic

This card features the lovely Ruby Chic from Polkadoodles.  After coloring her dress, I painted it with extreme glitter paint to give it a lovely sparkle.  The papers are from the Octavia Moonfly paper heaven 5 bundle.

Wine Bottle Tag

When I first say Ruby Party Girl from Polkadoodles I knew she would be perfect for a wine bottle tag.  I used the "Save Water Drink Champagne" Sentiment from the Winnie Celebrations 1 sentiment kit.  I used papers from the Halloween/Autumn paper heaven 2 bundle. Yes, even halloween paper can be used all year long. I added some shiny silver cardstock for the matting.

 I wish I had a champagne bottle for the picture but this lovely bottle of blackberry wine will have to do.  Wine bottle tags are perfect for when you want to give a bottle of wine or bubbly as a hostess gift at a party.

 I cut several circles out of the left over paper from my project to use in the photo staging and for another project.  Unfortunately, I lost several of them when I tried to take the picture outside in the wind.

Ruby Raindrops

Polkadoodles has a brand new release of images starting today.  My project features Ruby Raindrops.  We are having a heat wave and the temperatures are soaring near 100 degrees.  I would love a bit of the rain that Ruby is enjoying. After coloring the image with copics, I painted the ruffles with extreme glitter paint for a little added sparkle.

Christmas Card

It's a lovely 88 degrees here today and despite that I have a Christmas card to share.  I used an image from Bugaboo Stamps for this card.  I kept the design simple and free of bulky embellishments so that it will be easier to mail.

Winter Card

I can hardly believe that it is already June!  The year seems to be flying by fast.  

Have you started your Christmas cards?  I like to work on them all year long to help minimize the holiday stress.  Besides that, Christmas cards are my favorite cards to make.

This is my DT card for The Merry Christmas Challenge. The theme is always Anything Goes with an optional theme if  you want to give it a try. The optional theme this time is polka dots.  I did find some paper that matched perfectly with my colored image and...there were polka dots!

Sunshine Card

I hope you join us for the challenge at Digi Choosday.  The theme is Always Anything Goes but the DT was challenged to make an "outdoor fun" project.

For my card I took inspiration from all of the sunshine we  have been enjoying.  I used Cutie Pie  from The Little Miss Sugar Pops 1 kit.  The flowers are also from that kit as well as the sunbeam paper. The cloud paper and the yellow check paper is from Astro Dude. The green dotted paper is from the Love and Kisses kit.

16th Birthday CArd

I made this card for a special young man celebrating his 16th birthday.  The card base was made using the Going Places Cricut Cartridge.
