Dare To Be Sassy Thursday #70 Monochromatic
Our Dare To Be Sassy theme this week at Sassy Studio Designs is MONOCHROMATIC. I chose white as my color and of course couldn't resist making a wedding card. Sassy Studio Designs is also sponsoring the challenge at Crafty Sentiments and the theme is Royal Wedding.
I added lots of shimmer and sparkle to my card but the picture just doesn't do it justice. The entire wedding dress was painted with Extreme Glitter paint and then I used diamond dust in her bouquet and flowers adorning the dress. The glitter paint is so easy to use and dries so quickly. I painted on a very light layer and it was dry in less than 10 minutes! No more waiting forever for stickles to dry!

Please check out the Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog to see who was selected to join our team and also to find out who won the prizes from each of our sponsors for our Blog Hop.
Congrats to Mrs. K who won the drawing on my blog sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs!! Please go to the Aud Sentiments Challenge blog to find out how to redeem your prize.
This week our theme is "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY" We would like to see projects made for your mom.
Here is my DT project.
I decided to do something a little different this time. I made a small circular tag. I have ordered a plant for my Mother-in-law in her favorite color, Salmon. This tag actually opens up like a card but I plan to use it as a plant stake for her flowers. This week we are being sponsored by the Paper Garden Projects and they provided several floral images for the DT to use for our projects. I chose to use the Tree Peony image for my tag. We would love for you to join us in this challenge. Simple make a project following the Happy Mother's Day theme and link it up at Aud Sentiments for your chance to win a prize from the Paper Garden Projects.

Mirror Mirror On The Wall
I just love this Snow White stamp from Magnolia Stamps. I have been wanting to make a project with her for the longest time. I wanted to show the contrast between sweet Snow White and her wicked Step Mother so this is what I came up with for the card. I cut the mirror frame from the Happy Hauntings Cricut cartridge and then put a picture of the Wicked Step Mother inside. I used crackle accents to make it look like the mirror shattered. The image of the Wicked Step Mother is from a coloring book page I found on the internet.

Digi Doodle Shop's Best Challenge #55 Glitter and Glitz
The challenge this week at Digi Doodle Shop's Best is "Glitter and Glitz" How fun is that! For my DT card I decided to use one of the newer stamps in the Digi Doodle shop. The image is Fairy and Daisy and it is one of my favorites. I used lots of glitter and glitz on my card. The pattern paper has lots of glitter and the silver cardstock is also glittery. I added stickles to the fairy wings and the flowers. All the stitching was done by hand using metallic silver embossing thread for some extra glitter.

Craft Us Crazy Challenge #6
Today is a bittersweet day for me. Today marks the start of another fun challenge at Craft Us Crazy and this challenge will be my last as part of the Craft Us Crazy DT. I have decided to step down from the DT due to time constraints. This spring and summer will be very busy for me with gardening and I would hate to not be able to devote as much quality time to my crafting projects for the DT team. The theme for this challenge is "Thinking Of You" You can make any type of craft project, using any crafting medium as long as you follow the theme. For my DT project, I used the image Penelope Puppy from Robin's Fetish.
The braided ribbon around the image is one long piece of ribbon that is braided using loops. A friend told me this type of braiding is called "Monkey Braiding" One of these days, I will try and have a picture tutorial on how to braid using this method. I learned how to braid using this technique about 25 years ago and it really is fairly easy to do. It is just getting started that can be challenging.
Digi Doodle Shop's Best Challenge #54 Stripes

You will love all of their creations!! Our challenge for this week is Stripes. You can make anything you want as long as you include stripes in your project. For my project, I decided to make a shaped card featuring Birdie Birdie which is one of the new images in the Digi Doodle Shop. Inside of card:
