Christmas Card

It's time for a new challenge at The Merry Christmas Challenge.  The theme is always Anything Christmas goes.  Participating in the challenge is a great way to get your holiday cards done in time to be mailed and without the last minute stress.
My card is simple. I used Winter Fairy from Mo's Digital Pencil and let the image and the pretty pattern paper be the focus.  Nothing else was needed but I did add the snowflake die

Ruby Boho Chic

I am back today with another of the new images from Polkadoodles.
This lovely is Ruby Boho Chic.
For this project I did not make a card.  This is the front page of a scrapbook I am making for one of my daycare kids who will be moving on to kindergarten.  I always like to make the front page without a picture so it is more like a introduction to the album.  Due to lack of time this year and the fact I have 2 albums to create for kids moving on to kindergarten, I decided to purchase a premade scrapbook album.  All I have to do is add the pictures.  These papers from Polkadoodles match perfectly with the colors in the premade album .

Ruby Sweet

I am very excited to share another project made using one of the new images from Polkadoodles.
Meet Ruby Sweet. She is available in both a black and white version for you to color and also a precolored version.

She is gorgeous and I know she will be one of my favorite images to use. Today I am sharing a birthday card but I can see her on so many different types of cards. After coloring her with copics, I painted her dress with extreme glitter paint.  I like to use the Halogram paint. It is clear and paints over the copics beautifully.  When dry, it just gives a nice sparkle. I added a clear gem to her hair for her hair pin.

My card is a gate fold card with a window.  It is super easy to make but I have to admit I did struggle a bit.  The reason why I struggled is I hate to measure.  I prefer to just "eyeball" it.  Anyway, in order to make this card with the layers work, you do need to measure a bit.
I used very few embellishments for this card because the digi and the papers are all so gorgeous that not much else is needed.  The papers are also from Polkadoodles and are part of the Winnie Sugar Sprinkles paper sets.

Here is the card opened up:

After I colored  her with copics, I added stickles to her dress for some added sparkle.

It's time for a new challenge at Digi Choosday! I am in love with these papers from the Polkadoodles Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Heaven 8 bundle.  I bought them for a baby card but couldn't resist using them with this gorgeous image, Serenity Joyful, also from Polkadoodles.  I made a gate fold card and decided to keep the design super simple to really show off the papers and the image.

I have some exciting news to share...Digi Choosday is having a Guest Design Team call.  You can find all the details HERE about how to apply.  We have a great group of amazing design team members plus you get the opportunity to work with items from Polkadoodles.

Christmas Card

After I colored up this cutie I decided to use my red spica pen on the ribbon and the candle for some extra sparkle.  It didn't work as well as the extreme glitter paint that I usually use over my copics.  I guess I won't be doing that again.
This is my dt card for The Merry Christmas challenge.  The theme is always anything Christmas goes.  Participating in each of the challenges is a great way to get your Christmas cards done in time for mailing.

Train Dominoes Card

I was stumped this year on what kind of card to make for my brother-in-law's birthday.  I was tired of making the fart joke cards so I came up with this idea.  We like to get together with several other couples for game nights.  My brother-in-law likes train dominoes so I decided to make his card featuring that game.
I printed out dominoes that I found online and then arranged them so that they added up to his age (53)

Here is the inside of the card.  My husband helped me with the sentiment.

This is my DT card from Crafty Hazelnut's Pattern Paper challenge. The theme is always anything goes as long as you use pattern paper.  I can't wait to see what you create for this challenge
