Football Jersey Card

My nephew just celebrated his 12th birthday.  He is a Kansas City Chiefs fan so I made him this card for him.
I used a template to create the jersey. I used my cricut to cut the number 12 and the football for the front of the card.

For the inside of the card I made the chiefs arrowhead using my cricut.  The player who wears the number 12 jersey for the Chiefs is the wide receiver, Albert Wilson.  I incorporated the position he plays into the sentiment of the card.

Back of the card:

I hope he likes the card. I think it turned out great.

Card Details:
Letters and numbers cut from the Base Camp Cricut cartridge
Football cut from the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge
Arrowhead cut from the Everyday Paper Doll Cricut cartridge

You Make My Heart Smile

I created this fun card for my husband for our anniversary.  We are celebrating 26 years together.  He was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon cancer earlier this year and has been undergoing chemo treatments.  I figured he could use a smile and maybe a laugh or two so I am including tickets to a comedy club show with this card.

All the stamps are from Peachy Keen Stamps.  I just love these fun faces.

Card Details:
Spellbinders scalloped heart die
Cricut Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge for the clown heads
Base Camp Cricut cartridge for the heart on the front
Sweet On You Face Stamps from Peachy Keen Stamps for the faces on the hearts
Clowning Around Face Stamps from Peachy Keen Stamps for the clown faces

Flyin by

The new challenge at Addicted To Stamps is to stamp your background.  I dug around in my stash and found this background stamp from CTMH.  It's huge and works perfectly for a card background.  I paired it up with the plane and sentiment from another stamp set.  I love the way this looks with the blue, tan and brown.  Makes a perfect masculine card.

Card Details:
Mapped Background stamp from CTMH
On Display Stamp set from My Time Made Easy
Ink: Rich Cocoa
Martha Stewart border punch
Spellbinders scalloped circle die
Gina Marie stitched circle die

Princess card

This is my first card I made using an stamp I colored with distress inks instead of copics.  I am rather pleased with how she turned out.  I do need to do a lot of practicing though.
This is my DT card for Simply Magnolia challenge.  The challenge theme is to use a charm.  I had this crown charm that paired up nicely with this Tilda stamp.  You still have lots of time to join us in this challenge.

Card Details:
Tilda in cotton dress from Magnolia Stamps
Distress inks
la la land heart doily border die
Magnolia Doohickey heart die
Magnolia Doohickey fence die
Corner leaf from Storybook Cricut cartridge
Martha Stewart butterfly punch
Martha Stewart branch punch

Christmas card

Here is my mid month reminder project for Crafty Hazel Nut's Christmas Extra Challenge.  The challenges are always anything Christmas goes!
It is already the middle of September so that means our Christmas cards need to be mailed in less than 3 months!  Are you ready?  I have about a dozen cards left to make so I am feeling good about my holiday card preparations.
This stamp is from Magnolia Stamps.  I have colored it with Distress Inks.  I'm still learning and need lots of practice with the inks but I do love the way this one turned out.

Stamp: Magnolia Stamps

Corner leaf from Storybook Cricut cartridge

Thank You Cards

I needed more thank you cards so I made a bunch of this simple design.  I made 16 of them and of course have used them all.  I guess I will be making another batch of thank you cards soon.

Have A Tail Waggin' Good Day!

Took a break from cards to make this cute tag.  This is my DT card for Aud Sentiments.  We are sponsored by Ike's Art.  I used the image Malteese 1 for my project.
This cute dog looks just like my dog, Isabella (Izzy). However, my dog is a Malshi (part Malteese and part Shih Tzu).

Here's my Izzy:
