Easter Egg

I wanted to make a fairly simple card for Easter this year. I knew that I wanted to make an egg with a big bow but didn't have any other ideas in mind . I stumbled upon Linda's works of Heart website and just fell in love with the egg she made. You can check hers out here http://lindaduke.typepad.com/lindas_works_of_heart/cards/page/9/ She had made an egg card just like what I had in mind to make. For my egg, I cut the shape with my cricut using the doodlecharms cart. The egg measures 5 inches. I ran it through my cuttlebug to emboss. I cut a 2 inch strip of white cardstock and used the Martha Stewart border punch on both sides. Then I simply added ribbon and a bow. Very simple and elegant card. I did add glitter to the blue egg. Thanks for looking!!
